GBA slot cover LED mod

For this mod I opened my DS lite GBA dust cover that came with the DS lite to put led's in it.

First you must open it

Then on the chip inside you have to go 2 pins from the left and three from the left and scrape off the green covering with a screw driver or anything to scratch it.

Then use a conductive pen and draw a line up to where you want to connect your wires.

Now you can either use wires or just connect the LEDs using the conductive pen. (using the conductive pen is much easier)

If you want to do a parallel then you must do it like this. Carve a little bit off the green above trace in the center if you want to hid the conductive pen.

I used 0603 blue surface mount led's I got on ebay.
You cant really see the led's through the white case but if you get a transparent case from www.n-mod.com it looks awsome
